The Sims 4 has not been exempt from the ever-diligent sex mod creators as well. Modders, since the early days of The Sims, didn’t want any of that and decided to kink up every new iteration of the game with mods that removed mosaics, added explicit nudity, and even created custom sex animations, replacing the family-friendly approach to sex completely. Nudity was heavily censored with mosaics to cover genitals and breasts, while intercourse usually happened under bedsheets or other cliched humorous covers.
Of course, the act of WooHooing (as the game affectionately uses in place of “sex”) hasn’t been openly explicit in any vanilla version of The Sims games.
As in normal life, the simulated act of intercourse made the Sims happy, allowed them to procreate and spawned another one of their kind to join the ranks on the ever-spinning hamster wheel of engaging casual gameplay. The Sims franchise has always featured sex as an integral part of the life of every Sim found in-game.
