Characters you feel worthy can be added to your Legacy roster, and can be re-used (and improved!) in future campaigns. Over the length of a campaign characters will grow older, form relationships, have kids, and eventually retire - provided you don't get them killed. Speaking of which, the game has a great wiki with very extensive documentation.Ĭharacters are randomly generated with a couple different interests or behaviors such as "Goofball, Loner, Greedy, Poet, Leader" and those along with 3 different story background hooks will in some cases determine the events you'll see and how the character will interact with those events. There are a ton of different events which prompt you to choose an option, the outcome of which isn't always clear unless you're metagaming and scrutinizing the wiki. So no move, attack, move remaining leftover distance afterwards except for edge case scenarios that get an action refunded after kill or crit.
